I didn’t get the choice with my first but since following your page I opted for delayed clamping in January for my homebirth! Everyone commented on what a beautiful colour my baby boy was and now when I look back at photos compared to my eldest there is a difference, he was so lovely and pink! I was so excited to get delayed cord clamping and so pleased I got to do it!
We were told we couldn’t do delayed clamping as cord bloods were needed for genetics however I was adamant I wanted to delay clamping and the midwife on the day obliged. Nothing should stop your baby getting what it needs and it is possible.
